The TMC BBQ Box mixes four sources across four items: Diamantina, Stanbroke's beef brand, supplies the grain-fed sirloin from a 100-day grain programme in Queensland; Steggles supplies the bone-in cage-free chicken thighs; Integrated Foods in New Zealand supplies the 600g pack of free-range lamb chops; and the two 350g packs of Australian BBQ beef sausages complete the grill line-up. No added hormones are used in the beef, chicken or lamb.
The TMC BBQ Box costs the same as its four items bought individually before volume pricing applies, since box pricing here isn't a lower-priced structure: three boxes save 5% and five save 10%, the same as any other product. What it saves is the work of picking a balanced spread for a group: two proteins built for the grill, one for slow cooking, and sausages to fill gaps between courses.
The four 250g Diamantina grain-fed sirloin steaks in the BBQ Box need 3 to 4 minutes per side over direct heat for medium-rare, and benefit from resting 5 minutes before serving. The bone-in chicken thighs take longer, around 25 to 30 minutes over indirect heat until they reach 74C internally, and the lamb chops need only 2 to 3 minutes per side. Thaw everything in the refrigerator overnight first.
The Meat Club doesn't badge the BBQ Box as Halal certified overall, since 1 of its 4 items, the sausages, carries unconfirmed certification. The Diamantina sirloin, Steggles chicken thighs and Integrated Foods lamb chops inside it are each independently Halal certified, the beef through the SICHMA scheme at Establishment 203.
